The Dancing Eulogy

Eulogies.  Sort of a strange, yet not-so-strange concept.  At the same time.  I understand the idea of saying a lot of nice words about a dead, loved one.  But, why not do eulogies for the LIVING.  Hm?  How 'bout that idea?  Let your friends know how Incredibly Awesome they ARE, vs. how awesome they WERE.

..man I come up with some good ones.

I should start that project now.  Write eulogies for my not dead friends.  *light bulb just went off*  Just got an idea for Christmas gifts.    Sshhhhh.....

I just wanna say that I LOVE drumming.  And African dancing.  And how they feed off each other.  The energy behind it.. the spirituality of it all.....  I just can't say enough great things about the whole thing.  I had a BLAST drumming at last week's West African drum class.  My drum instructor had faith in me, and I pulled it off.  It was So Incredibly Fun.  It felt natural.  Like.. THIS is what I am supposed to be doing.  So, I'm going to do it more often.

Also want to give a shout out to a very cool chic who teaches West African Dancing.  I encourage anyone and everyone to take a class and/or see her perform.  It's exhilarating and very fun.  Her name is Becky Bickford.  Check her out.
